ShortDot is preparing to launch its fifth and newest domain extension – .SBS (#SideBySide).

Who is .SBS for?

ShortDot has positioned the .SBS domain extension as a short, thoughtful, three-letter domain extension perfect for social causes, charitable organizations and other philanthropic initiatives, and any progressive business, individual, or community that believes in social and financial inclusion.

ShortDot will be donating a portion of every .SBS domain registration to a non-profit organization.

.SBS also finds applications valid for productivity platforms, online events, and networking sites where teams can collaborate, work remotely, and share ideas side by side. Serial multi-taskers managing multiple projects, businesses, and tasks side by side can also use .SBS.

When will .SBS launch?

.SBS will be launching in its Sunrise Phase, for trademark holders, on May 6, 2021. Sunrise will end on June 7, 2021
.SBS will officially be available for all end-users on June 8, 2021.

ShortDot will launch .SBS with a seven-day Early Access Program (EAP) that will involve adding an access fee to the cost of registration. This fee will gradually be lowered over the first seven days of General Availability.

.SBS will have one Premium tier and a small list of registry reserved names. After EAP .SBS will be available at a launch promo price.
